How we work

A visible path from intake to delivery.

We evaluate electronics and appliances before deciding what can be salvaged. Suitable items can then receive approved on-site cleaning, repair or restoration, followed by final checks and item-level documentation.

Evaluation and on-site restoration process

01 / Assign

Confirm scope

Confirm the item list, exposure event, location, timing, safe site access, approved checks and report format.

02 / Register

Identify items

Match units to the assignment and capture available description, make, model, serial and starting condition.

03 / Evaluate

Assess salvageability

Document damage and approved checks to identify salvageable and non-salvageable items, recording uncertainty and whether on-site work is feasible.

04 / Restore

Complete approved on-site work

Clean, repair or restore suitable items on site only when the evaluation, safe working conditions and agreed scope support the work.

05 / Verify

Check and document results

Complete applicable final checks and record each item’s work, results, photographs, limitations and recommended next action.

Assignment controls

What keeps the record reliable.

Item identity

Every finding must stay tied to the correct unit. Available serial numbers, model information, location and photo identifiers are captured early.

Safe access

Power, utilities, contamination, physical stability and safe site access affect both inspection and on-site work. A unit is not energized when conditions make that inappropriate. Work that cannot be performed safely stays outside the agreed scope.

Visible limitations

Missing accessories, unavailable utilities, inaccessible components, intermittent behaviour and incomplete event history are recorded rather than hidden.

Agreed terminology

Salvageable and non-salvageable findings are tied to the observed damage and completed checks. Not every item can be restored; inconclusive findings, further checks or specialist referrals are recorded rather than treated as successful restoration.

Prepare an assignment

Prepare the assignment brief.

Use the intake worksheet to record the item types, quantity, location and required deliverable. This pre-launch form does not transmit information.
