Frequently asked questions

Practical answers before the first assignment.

Evaluation comes before restoration. These answers explain suitable on-site work, salvageable and non-salvageable findings, and the scope and safety conditions confirmed for each assignment.

What equipment categories are proposed?

Major appliances, consumer electronics, computers and networking, audio and musical equipment, selected tools, small appliances and specialty powered equipment are planned categories. Exact fit depends on the unit, condition and required checks.

Do you inspect and restore items on site?

Yes. We inspect electronics and appliances on site and can clean, repair or restore suitable items there after evaluation and approval. The work depends on the damage, safe site access, utilities and feasibility; it is not limited to installed or immovable items.

Does a functional check certify that an item is safe?

No. A condition or function assessment is not a regulatory product certification, electrical safety approval or engineering opinion. The report states the checks completed and their limitations.

What does the report include?

The item-level record includes identity, exposure context, observed damage, checks and salvageability findings. Where on-site work is approved, it also records cleaning, repair or restoration completed, applicable final checks, results, indexed photos, limitations and the recommended next action. Format is agreed during scoping.

Can you decide whether a warranty claim is covered?

The proposed service could record evidence against client-approved criteria. Final legal or contractual coverage authority remains with the authorized warranty or service-plan provider. The proposed service's role would be limited to the agreed inspection record.

How fast is turnaround?

Turnaround will depend on unit type, volume, location, access and report requirements. A service-level target will be quoted only after scope and operating capacity are confirmed.

Can every item be restored?

No. Evaluation determines whether an item is salvageable, non-salvageable or needs further checks. Approved on-site cleaning, repair or restoration proceeds only where the damage, safety conditions and feasibility support it. Final checks document the outcome; they do not guarantee that every item can be returned to service.

Do you store or transport items?

Storage and transport are not part of the confirmed scope. Do not assume collection, off-site storage or delivery is included with an on-site assignment.

How is confidential information handled?

Privacy, retention, access and any device-data procedure must be documented before launch. Do not ship devices containing sensitive data until the agreed handling process is confirmed.
